CFCD Event Schedule

The Cape Fear Contra Dancers meet 7:30 to 9:30 PM on the 2^nd and 4^th Tuesday evenings of each month. We ask for a donation of $3.00. Normally these dances are held at the 5^th Avenue United Methodist Church in historic downtown Wilmington. See the church location map to 5th Ave. United Methodist Church..

We hold a dance on the 2^nd Saturday evening of each month from 7:30 to 11:00 PM, except for December, and June through August. We ask for a donation of $6.00 from CFCD members, $8.00 from non-members, and $5.00 for students with an Id. These dances are normally held at the 5^th Avenue United Methodist Church in historic downtown Wilmington. See the church location map to 5th Ave. United Methodist Church..

We encourage dancers to pay $20 for a one-year membership. Your membership helps to defray the expenses of our Saturday dances not covered by donations at the door.

Contra dancing continues throughout the fall on the 2^nd and 4^th Tuesdays at 5^th Ave. UMC.
Saturday night dances in September, October, and November will shift to the 2^nd Saturday night. These will be held at 5^th Avenue United Methodist Church.
